Here we have answered some of the more frequent questions we get asked in relation to first dance songs and popular wedding songs and so on. If you cannot find an answer to your question here please do write to us either through bookings@thesuitemusic.com or else through our contact form, Tina, our-bookings manager, will be able to give you the information you need.

/ 01. How long do The Suite perform for? /

In total we perform for 2.5 hours not including a break when the hotel serves refreshments.

/ 02. Will you travel nationwide? /

Yes. We regularly play venues in various parts of Ireland. Some of our recent clients comments can be viewed in our testimonials section.

/ 03. Do you provide all of your equipment? /

Yes. Once The Suite are booked you no longer have to worry about entertainment on the night, we have a state of the art sound system with the latest in LED lighting to give an impressive show.

/ 04. How much time is required to set up? /

We can be fully set up and ready to go in 45 minutes.

/ 05. Can you set up before the meal? /

Although in most cases this is not necessary, we can be set up before the meal if that is what is desired. As this requires everyone to be on-site earlier in the day than would normally be necessary, a small additional fee is required, details of which can be received from Tina, The Suite booking-manager here

/ 06. Can we be sure that the band will not play too loud? /

As professional musicians, experienced in playing numerous venues of various sizes, we always take the size of the venue into account when setting the volume level for the show. We appropriately adjust and maintain our sound throughout the course of the evening.

/ 07. Can we decide the setlist? /

It’s your night and we do welcome suggestions for songs that you like or don’t like, and create a setlist for your night that fits in with the atmosphere you want to create. With that in mind it is generally best to leave the majority of the song selection up to us. We will play popular wedding songs that will keep the dance floor filled all night.

/ 08. Can we choose the first dance songs? /

You can choose your first dance to be played by the band. If the song is new to us we will do our best to learn it but we would require at least 3 months notice in order to be sure to do your first dance song justice.

/ 09. Do you play waltzes? /

That is up to you. We have them in our available setlist and normally play a few waltzes. We can leave them out if you desire.

/ 10. Do you let people get up and sing? /

Yes, as long as it’s cleared with the bride and groom beforehand.

/ 11. Can you provide a DJ? /

Yes. We work with a full time professional Wedding DJ

/ 12. How long does the DJ play for? /

The DJ will play for approx 2.5 hours. (venue permitting)

/ 13. Can I pick the playlist for the DJ? /

Yes. Our DJ encourages you to give him a list of songs you like, so that he may incorporate them into the playlist.

/ 14. How do you dress for the function? /

We dress appropriately for the occasion. For example at a wedding we would wear white shirts, black slacks, grey waistcoats and grey ties.

/ 15. Do you require a deposit? /

We require a €200 deposit to secure the date. Until the deposit has been paid, we cannot guarantee your date.
The deposit is non-refundable.

/ 16. What is the next step after I pay my deposit? /

Once the deposit is received, your date is assured and a booking form will be issued to you. The booking form requests all details for the event and any specific requests that you may have, relating to choice of music etc.

/ 17. Who will answer my queries and take my booking? /

Our manager, Tina, will be on hand to help you with any queries or requests that you may have.

/ 18. What types of wedding services do you offer? /
